👻 Vanish Mode

Vanish mode makes you invisible to and undetectable by players. Use vanish whenever investigating or snooping. There are a few different plugins that provide a vanish mode, but CMI is the best and most-used among them.

Entering Vanish Mode For Yourself

To enter vanish mode, use the command:
/cmi vanish

Putting Another Player in Vanish Mode

To put another player in vanish mode, add a player argument:
/cmi vanish <player>

Editing Your Vanish Mode

CMI also allows you to change some rules about your vanish! To open the setting menu, use the command:
/cmi vanishedit

This menu will provide you with a variety of options. Here are the suggested settings:

• Always join in vanish mode: true
• Can deal damage to others: false
• Can take damage: false
• Can pickup items: false
• Mobs can target: false
• Can physically interact: false
• Noisy chests: false
• Apply night vision: true
• Shows leave message: false (leave false to prevent second leave message)
• Shows join message: false (leave false to prevent second join message)
• No public messages: false (no effect)
• Accepts private messages: false (no effect)
• Disable vanish on relog: false
• Show bossbar when vanished: true
• Trigger afk commands when vanished: false
• Show fake join/leave messages on vanish state change: false (incorrectly formatted message)
• Mobs will spawn nearby: false
• Show death message: false
• Playtime will stop increasing: false
• Ignore for sleeping count: true
• Hooking entities: false

[!tip] Not all vanish settings will work as expected!
We use several different plugins to enhance the abilities for various parts of the server. CMI vanish edit only has control over CMI-related features. Since we use other plugins for some of these features, changing the CMI setting may have no effect or make them worse!
