    👥 Alt Verification (Altverify)

    AltVerify is the server's automated alt detection, verification, and recording system. It helps staff identify alternate accounts, manage player links, and release verified players from security gates.

    subcommands

    Check Player Alts

    Scans the database for linked accounts or shared IP addresses associated with a player:
    /alts check <player>

    • Example: /alts check Aubie2002
      Output lists: All detected linked accounts, IP logs, and verification status.

    Generate Alt Report

    Generates a comprehensive alts correlation report for all players currently online on the server:
    /alts report

    Verify Separate Players (Prevent Linkage)

    If two players share an IP address (e.g. siblings, roommates) and trigger automated alt alarms, mark them as verified separate people:
    /alts set verified <player1> <player2> [player3] ...

    • Example: /alts set verified PlayerA PlayerB
      This stops automated alt alarms from triggering when they log in together.

    Manually register accounts as alternate accounts of each other in the database:
    /alts set alts <player1> <player2> [player3] ...

    • Example: /alts set alts MainAccount AltAccount

    Release Player from Gameroom

    If a new player is held in the verification "gameroom" due to alt/VPN checks, and you verify they are a separate person, release them:
    /alts gameroom exit <player>

    • Example: /alts gameroom exit NewPlayer
      This teleports them out of the holding room and into the main world spawn.

    Toggle Real-Time Notifications

    Mutes or unmutes real-time chat notifications sent to staff when the system detects potential alt linkages:
    /alts togglenotifs
