👓 View Distance Tweaks

Root commands: /viewdistancetweaks
Worlds: Spawn, Overworld, Underworld-A, Underworld-B, Pit
Access Level: Admin

The view distance in each server is automatically adjusted with server performance. However, in some situations, you may need to manually set the view distance in a server. To do so, you can use View Distance Tweaks.

Note that, what is often referred to on the server as "view distance", is actually simulation distance!

Checking View Distance

To view the current view distance for each world on the server you are in, use the command:
/viewdistancetweaks status

Setting View Distance

To set the view distance for the server you are in, use the command:
/viewdistancetweaks simulationdistance <1-7> --duration <time>

Note that the time parameter is optional. If you omit the time parameter, then the view distance will stay at the specified level until the next server restart, after which it will go back to automatic adjustment.
