Surviving Your Trial Admin Phase
Welcome to your Trial Admin phase! Before you can start looking into complex xray reports, region griefs, or other server issues, you need to understand the basic tools and responsibilities of your role.
Basic Commands & First Steps
On your first day as a T-Admin, you won’t be doing much yet. You should spend this time studying the admin commands at your disposal, checking permissions, and getting familiar with the server mechanics. You will always shadow another admin before attempting complex investigations on your own.
Confidentiality Policy
Everything you learn about players through your admin role must be kept strictly confidential. This includes:
- Player home coordinates (
/homes//home) - Private messages (
/spy//socialspy//commandspy) - Player inventory saves and live contents (
/invsee//cmi inv//playerdata) - Active or planned raids

Conflict of Interest: Using any information you learn as an admin to benefit yourself, your friends, or your faction is strictly prohibited. Doing so will result in an immediate demotion from staff.
Real-World Policy Examples (Nova's Advice)
Example 1: Faction Insiding
Once, I found out through Admin DMs that a player who had applied to my faction was only trying to join in order to "inside" us (steal base items, leak coordinates). I stayed quiet, did not share this information with my faction members, and let my faction leaders decide the way they normally would.
Example 2: Patrolling Active Raids
A few times, I have patrolled to a group of players who were in the process of raiding my own base while I was offline on my alt account. I had to wait until the raid was publicly called out in chat, or until my faction members discovered it on their own, before I joined to help defend. As soon as I realized what was happening, I logged off my admin account.
Core Rule of Thumb: If you wouldn’t have known about it if you weren’t an admin, then do not act on it.
